~~OT~~ Lynn, I have a Masters ticket to operate vessels up to 150 meters / 100 ton displacement and 49 passangers. My charters are nothing like you were on. Most are kept to 4 or rarely 6 guests. Just me and a 1st mate take them out and it is nearly all catch and eat. Pull 'em in and they hit the coolers except for junk fish like trout & salmon in the Great Lakes. Just sold my boat-- will be looking for another for next season. I've only bought new in the past but think there may be some in the 30' - 38' range rather new and kinda cheap now,,LOL

OCNJ??
That be my childhood stomping grounds. Back then, it was mostly dunes at the south end, though.

I love charter fishing, but I won't go out on a drizzly day or a day with swells. Too messy. Both the air and the boat (alot of chumming going on).
