Agree Mish - fools will chase it down all the way, forget Sept bottom, if we hold that it will be a miracle.

My favorite and the smartest economist in America has a DOW target of 3000/4000. He will be proven right, this guy has an incredible brain!

Mish, we should not get lopsided bearish here, I think that a solid bump from the 1690-1700 or so area, barely 50 Naz points away could easily occur. Think like a criminal, now they are murdering all the calls, by tomorrow, that mission could very well be accomplished at the rate we are declining, and then they will demolish the puts into Friday. How about that as a variant of the Max pain theory, call it the dynamic max pain theory, or as Shakespeare would have said "Plague on both your houses" (g). Can you explain why the highs are expanding and the lows contracting as we go down?
