"tech" market thoughts:

I have expected the NASDAQ to set an intermediate term low in this area, my original target was 1740ish, which we set yesterday with the intraday low. I have expected this to be the short term low and have expected a rally from this point. However, the overall mood of the market is extremely negative and combined with the Israeli/Palestinian escalation, I may have to adjust my expectations. I'm giving my downside target a little leeway for this week, since we are approaching the 1st Qtr earnings season and the market often moves north through the end April. Earnings in general should be weak but expectations have been severely lowered so that they may "appear" better then they truly are. This may set up a nice short term move north, or relief rally on the new, "clearer" forward guidance.
