I'm glad you're still in agreement with me on this one. i don't really care
about the "evil" question ... Only that the groups be held accountable
and "punished". I think this also applies to those second tier groups
that support the terrorist groups (Hamas, Islamic Jihad, ...)

eh? one of us missed the point, I do not care how you feel about suicide bombers but once you create an image of poetic death for the good cause in young minds terrorists would not have a problem with new recrutes.
Israel's response to terror would be limited as well because international community would not stand for Israeli tanks attacking young "freedom-fighters".
And your opinion contributes to the suffering and death of both peoples.
I do not really have a clue about evil vs good fight.
