If that's what you mean, you WOULD think the Semites would have a greater claim to Israel but apparently in Israeli culture its the Ashkenazi Jew who has dominated Israeli affairs. From time to time, the semitic Jews complain of discrimination but whether things have changed or not, I do not know. I am surprised you know nothing about this issue. I don't really know much about this, but my WAG is that the Ashkenazi Jews are probably more brainy compared to their semitic brethren, thanks to the Russian / Khazar connection. Joe, thanks for the history lesson. When I learned Jewish history, I missed the part about the Khazars. As for the Ashkenazi Jews, I think they were more brainy [I assume you mean better educated] and probably had more money when they got to Israel. I guess my point was that discrimination seems to be endemic to most cultures. ted
