So, any country that becomes free only does so if the US intervenes?
You are saying Nicaragua would not have been democratic otherwise.

History of countries such as Iran show the US subverting the government to overthrow one leadership and put in another, not democratic.

What makes Nicaragua special, when Iran was such a subversion of democracy by the US?

See, that's what I mean. I can't make those easy assumptions from those indicted that their crimes are "for democracy", considering the miserable history of spook operations.
