You can now stop fearing your own government Good idea: "When the people fear the government you have tyranny, when the government fears the people you have liberty" -- Thomas Jefferson Unfortunately, the passion for secrecy and an all-powerful central government makes the cure worse than the disease. Did you notice that the CIA operative Mike Spann, who was killed in Afghanistan had his name publicized by a CIA press release? This contravenes express regulations of the CIA not to endanger the families of operatives from retalliation. Do you think that if the CIA knew there were terrorists in the US they would have exposed his wife, child and parents to that possibility? Either they are criminally incompetent, or know the danger is less that we are led to believe.
