Michael, there are so many bearish clues, like the low vix, all the bpi's, etc, etc. So I'm not screaming end of the bear by any means.

I find it interesting that just about everybody is very pessimistic about the immediate future except Donald, who has an excellent track record. Of course, his system is fairly short term and he is also bearish longer term, so it doesn't preclude a bounce before a continuation of the downtrend.

I just wish I knew whether I should be dumping my longs or my puts at this point <g>.

Could be...It's already taken out the uptrend line from September. I'd still like to see it cut through the pivot low and 50 dy MA, at around 116.60 with some gusto before I write the obituary on that one.

Lots riding on it (the inflation rate, current accounts deficit, bond rates, POG), that's for sure...
