Sad to say this misguided fool is from my current hometown. So let me understand this- terrorists from saudia arabia bomb the world trade center and Bush makes a big deal about the war on terrorism and bombs the crap out of Afghanistan- how many people were killed there? were there daily photos? comments about human rights violations? So now we have a gentleman named arafat, who founded an organization whose purpose was to destroy Israel, who continues to fund terrorist activities against Israeli citizens and we have another good man who compensates the families of those poor suicide bombers. Has one American or European leader offered to compensate the victims of these suicide bombers? What would US citizens say if SOmeone offered to compensate the families of the those poor terrorists who blew up those airliners at the world trade center?

I think that many people have forgotten the many leader who thoughts they could appease Hitler, who several times announced his peace-loving intentions. The world stood watching as he devoured Checkeslovakia hoping that he would be satisfied with that. Does anyone seriously believe that things will be any more peaceful with an arab state on the west bank run by arafat? .

Funny number that Nichols have : 15 000 protesters in TA ?
The number agreed on is 7 500.

Remember the numbers in Tel Aviv only after the Sabra Chatilla killings : 300 000

After Rabin's assassinations : 400 000.

What happened to those people ? Are they scared ? Did they change their mind ? Have they been in too many buses, restaurants, discos ?

John Nichols surely knows.
But he won't tell us.
