Its not annihilation. Its self defense.... Get a grip. The Germans don't use the words policy of annihilation lightly. The only other time they used the phrase was in referring to Nazi Germany. Self-defense? There was a story out a short while ago, that summarized the percentage of non-militant casualties. One report from the Palentinians; one from the Israeli government; and a third from an independent Israeli group. Forget about the first two; the independent Israeli group said that the Israelis were killing a higher percentage of non-combatants that the Palestinians were. Were the Israelis tossing stun grenades and shooting rubber bullets at CNN and ABC personnel [while the press was waiting for a US envoy] for the protection of the press? The Israelis say that the Franciscans are being held "hostage" at the Church of the Nativity; the Vatican spokesman says the Franciscans are there voluntarily. Which one do you believe? jttmab
