sel, come on...... "approved of it, knowing that it
wouldn't blow up until after"

The stupidest that ever was put together a team of lackeys and ass kissers who did not have a clue as to what enron was about. Collectively they were the stupidest that ever were. But as you say, I expect the DNA evidence of their stupidity is all over the place.

That's a wild stretch, trying to blame Enron on democrats.
Considering Enron was Bush's #1 supporter, best friend, let him fly on their jet, had instant access at all times, etc. etc. Enron was a very pro-GOP company and the only Dems they gave money too sat on energy policy boards. The vast majority of their money, time and effort went into turning the GOP into one big Energy lobby, to deregulate the world energy markets and to make huge killings for themselves, meanwhile pocketing it, hiding losses, and being protected by the Bush-Cheney administration all the way. Plan didn't quite work out thanks to Jeffords and some others, but that was definitely the plan. Hard to deny, isn't it. And no, Ken Lay did not spend the night in the Clinton White House. That was another lie put out there by the GOP disinformation squads. The same ones who brought us Whitewater which ended up with zero criminal anything. Big waste of time and money. Do you approve of the Bush crowd gouging us for 40 billion by the way? Is that acceptable just because they're in your party? Have to ask yourself why you'd think that's OK, especially when it means damaging the environment for future generations, not to mention wildlife.
