The only inevitabilities are death and taxes. You don't know that inflation is inevitable and nor does he.

You don't know this, this is just your negative preconception. Wanna hear my preconception? The economy is going to pick up a lot of steam this year and will resume a rapid expansion that will continue for most of this decade. The stock market will lag a bit until the last of the doomsters and debt wackos capitulate, then we will continue with Bubble Part Deux. And the best news? Insignificant inflation pressures and low interest rates continue.

Anyone who is out of equities or residential real estate will feel like shooting themselves in four or five years.
