US Army targeted the civilians of Dresden in l944 and murdered over 100,000 (yes, that's one hundren thousand) civlians in one 24hr period using fire bombs. The victims were mostly women,children and the elderly. Dresden had NO significant military facilities. The operation was a purely TERROR operation. Was this bombing justified to defeat the evils of Nazism? Most Americans would say yes! Then why can't the Palestinian use the same argument to target Israeli civilians who support the occupation and brutality in the occupied territories? Since every Israeli under 40 is a member of the Reserve IDF forces that occupied and daily murders Palestinians civilians, then it could be argued that the majority of Jewish/Israeli citizens are legitimate targets of the Palestinian liberation fighters.
