Oh I see your problem. You think that if you cut taxes, the government will collect less money. Oh boy, where have you been. Every time in the last 50 years, lowering marginal rates results in MORE MONEY. You pork peddlers actually should be DEMANDING tax cuts.

What needs to be done is a complete overhaul of the tax system....if we stay with the income tax system it needs to be a flat tax with maybe an exemption or two...or we need to scrap the income tax altogether and implement a national sales tax. Neither one will see the light of day because your liberal-sorry-ass-friends in Washington will not let this current system go....it keeps them empowered by dividing folks into groups and pandering to such. . .

I'm not commenting on the tax bracket, Im commenting on the FACT that the lower 50% of Americans pay only 4% of federal taxes. I feel they should pay more. Are you saying they should pay less, or stay the same? "I could give a rat's ass about insulting the richest of the rich" I realize this as it is quite obvious. You seem to hate the very people who provide for the government handouts you think (wrongly imo) so many Americans need and deserve. Since you want their money (you are obviously against any tax breaks for them), why not use a strategy that can accomplish your goals? When you insult people who are smarter and richer than you are, they do things like hide their money in foriegn accounts. Maybe if the dems keep up the divisive strategy Americans will hate each other to the levels of the Taliban or Palestinians. Would that please you? I like rich, smart allies. You seem to prefer them as enemies. Go figure.
