Dear Duke: As El has already said, Waltergate.

"But this is very damaging to hwp as a company. Not for the merger stuff, but look at the lapse of corporate security."

It's starting to look as if WW has a Deep Throat at HP.

I can't imagine what it must be like to work at a place where people start looking at each other and thinking, "Was it you?"

Duke of URL,
Fact of life about voice mail. It is forwarded all over the place. Sometimes the sender views the message as confidential information, but the recipient doesn't see it that way. The recipient forwards it to staff members with additional instructions. A staff member shares (forwards) the voice mail as gossip with a friend, or just interesting information. Forwarding (sharing) voice mail is as common as forwarding e mail. I don't know, but I suspect this one may have been shared once too often.

We had one voice mail shared half way around the world. The sender viewed it as confidential. It didn't do his career a lot of good.
