>Z, the Israelis themselves said those two towns were clean now that they had gone through them......that's why no one was surprised when they pulled out from them. In fact, I suspect there is little if any concern on the part of Sharon re the Bush edict.

The Israeli government state that the towns were clean was "spin" used to appease its own people.

>Besides, how could there have been a suicide bomber in a civilian setting. You and others repeatedly pointed out that the current incursion into the West Bank by the Israelis stopped all that. There must be some mistake. There can be no more suicide bombings.........the Israeli war machine has spoken.

I really feel that no matter what Israel does, there will be some terrorism for a while, unless the Palestinian Authority and the other terrorist groups are wiped out entirely and Israel or somebody else goes in there to do some "state building" -however, 1 attack in a two-week period directly after nearly an attack per day for a week seems like pretty good results for me... though I don't think that Israel should really pull out for a long time.
