That's the way I felt about Clinton and his speeches. Guess our political leanings have something to do with our ability to stomach these guys.

Well it's true that certain physical attributes can be off-putting....

Which makes it even more of a challenge for content to engage....Clinton never struck that chord with me.

People pick up facial expressions from their parents in the way they do attitudes, I think. And a smirk is an expression of an attitude. I certainly don't think the Bush smirk is a physical, ie musculature, thing. One reason I don't is that it's getting better. I suspect he's had it pointed out to him.

David Letterman is another smirker, and he seems also to be trying to get it under control.
