No I'm serious. The economy won't turn for real until he is out of office. And his approval rating would suck if there wasn't war news for everybody to rally around him. Shrub 2 took the country backward 20 years in time to relive Shrub 1.

Bush...the falling economy is not all his fault...but circumstances over which he has no control (9-11 and the ME conflict) are causing a continued weakness in the economy.

If Bush can stabilize the ME, the economy will recover. His being buddy buddy with Sharon at the Texas ranch is not the image he needs right now. Us good 'ol boys against the terrorists (read Arabs) is the message that strikes fear of a crusade gone wrong.
