On your other questions.

I think the comm chips are still hurting because of too much competition in an end market. Demand can no longer be expected from the weak sisters (telecom and telecom equipment companies) who have and still are going bankrupt.

CSCO can only buy so many chips.

On the consumer side of the equation.

As far as ESST and CRUS I do follow them. In fact I currently have a large trading position in ESST. I believe that consumer demand is still growing strongly for DVD's and VCD's and pricing pressures may not appear for another 12 months or more.

One caveat on my recommendations; I have absolutely no special insight into this industry. I just like the fact that some of these companies like MU and ESST right now are actually capable of generating big profits.
