Very dangerous thing to do.. When a stock breaks 5 a couple things happen.. Some Mutual funds no longer can own it and they become sellers. It is no longer marginable so that adds to the downside pressure from the induced selling.. I have often seen stocks break 5 and go to 3 or 2 in a matter of days..

Averaging down again??? I see your equally well at stabbing yourself. Make sure you twist the knife.

The MCI tracking stock (MCIT) has also been killed. Shows it pays a dividend of $2.40. Stock in low 4's paying 2.40. That dividend won't last long if true.

If you truly believe in WCOM then why not buy MCIT? Stock appreciation and a dividend to boot (might get boot). Sounds like a steal.
