I've got Zzzz on ingnore, but it's interesting to see how many weak-minded individuals grasp at any sort of popularity numbers, to reassure themselves that their own psychosis has some validity.

It's only validity is the same as the popularity, say, of violent video games, which proves to some psychopaths that shooting up shopping malls must "right" and a popular thing to do.

I hear the same thing on "Bush has high popularity!", and, the thinking goes, all Bush Inc. Administration policies must be right, along with the deviant prejudices of the individual.

When noting the high popularity of Clinton, even during his impeachment hearings and without a war, it drives them into a "Plan B" sort of excuse-making.

Hell, Nixon even had high popularity at one time.
Pretty good for a crook that would have gone to jail if he hadn't made the Pardon deal.

The ratings you cite for the networks are DOWN more than 50%.

In ten years there won't be an ABC, NBC or CBS network evening news. Their bias is driving people away.

Heck, I doubt they'll all be around in five years.
