I'm certainly not an expert on the matter, but my own research (I've read several dozen books on the matter as well as numerous articles) is approximately 700,000 to 1 million. The best book I read on the subject was THE DISSOLUTION OF EASTERN EUROPEAN JEWRY. It traces the statistics of immigration and migration of Eastern European Jews from I believe 36 to 45. The next best reading on the subject is the work of an official committee convened by England and America in l945 called the ANGLO-AMERICAN JOINT COMMITTEE.... This work traces the known facts and makes projections immediately after the war. The committee is strongly influenced by war time propaganda but does a credible job of discerning known facts from hysterical and emotional fiction. They establish the fact that most of the Rumanian, Bulgarian and Hungarian Jews survived WWII. They also trace the immigration of many of the Jews of Poland into Russia. Remember that Russia invaded half of Poland and many of the Polish Jews escaped into Russia and the Communist government moved these Jews East of the Ural mountains and out of reach of the Nazis. Also remember the fact that the Communist Revolution was created primarily by Jewish revolutionaries. I asked David Irving this question personally since he was the first historian to research the Russian Auschwitz Archives. He told me that from the documents captured at Auschwitz and the numerous other documents that establish documented killings that he believed the total would be close to one million Jews perished from all causes during WWII. He added at the end that he wouldn't be suprised if the figure dropped below 1 million. He also told me that the official Israel historian at the Holocaust memorial in Israel now accepts that the number is much less than 6 million---something like 2 million. The Jewish controlled and Hollywood continues to push the 6 million figure even though they know that the figure is fals. They do this because they know the exaggerated figure Israel and Orthodox Jewry!
