The Israelis didn't do a great job of ethnic cleansing on the Arabs. I hear there are 1.1 million Arabs in Israel. The East Jerusalem Arabs were asked if they would prefer to live under Israeli rule or under Palestinian rule. Guess what. They preferred Israeli rule? Maybe because they are afraid of getting killed without any justice by a lynch mob who accuse them of being collaborators.(while the mob just wanted to get rid of a debt or maybe to avenge some squabble)
