Dow is feeling giddy doesn't it...ficking manipulation. It even got TC2000 people calling for 11K soon. What the hell is going on!?

but the NDX closed down.

aj, the NDX was up 18 today, and though it was 7 points from the high, it was much farther from the low. I'm not arguing, since I don't see how they can rally these things. we're right on the precipice. but both the NDX and Comp made nice comebacks.

"COMP new highs at 262 today, which is quite amazing. The new lows contracted a bit to 53 (from 58 yesterday)."

answer:
(1) Zeev is wrong about new highs and new lows.IMHO.
(2) See Hal1 Group chart of Nasdaq 52 week High Low lines.
It is much easier to produce a new high in the last few
weeks.IMHO.

(3) It's that $BPCOMPQ that tells the true story of where
this market is going at this time.IMHO
(4) Nasdaq Channel is DOWM.FACTOID

AJ: QQQs had a rickshaw doji which is indicative of a reversal of sorts. They did a double bottom off the February lows which also had a rickshaw doji. Both bottoms are very similar. Perhaps they are too similar to be bottoms <g>. If CSCO and MSFT and INTC have to reach for maximum pain then so does the QQQs and NDX. VXN is at the top of its bollinger band and may have a little gas. Don't expect much though.

I think the Dow can move to test its most recent highs or even go higher highs. I don't think it matters which one but bulls will get worked up into a frenzy to buy WCOM <g>. All ready the bulls are pointing to the Dow. I am thinking about shorting the Dow if this happens.
