I just wanted to comment that the Palestinians are certainly poor students of history. IF they had, they would have seen that the suicide mentality always backfire. The Japanese fanaticism of WWII did not result in a single military victory, but instead hardened the resolve of their enemy and led to the Allied forces virtually refusing to take Japanese prisoners, and to wage a war of uncompromising brutality. This arguably resulted in many more deaths of Japanese soldiers and civilians. If the Palestinians are taking inspiration from the Tamils, that too is twisted. The LTTE did not resort to suicide missions for the sole sake of indiscriminant killing of civilians. They were almost all aimed at specific political or military targets (albiet bystanders were killed).
