DOH! T is reverse-splitting because they are selling off their Broadband asset to Comcast and don't want to be left with a 4 dollar stock.

Paul, those rumors about T being nearly insolvent are probably more true than we know them to be. I still believe they end up with SBC and WCOM ends up with Verizon after a Chapter 11. I think Bell South may get Sprint, but I don't know for sure. I think Quest may have to do a chapter 11 and should emerge stronger. I think LVLT stock certificates will be traded on EBAY, not the Nasdaq.

T has been consistently making bad business decisions lately. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they went belly up.
Just on anecdotal personal info. I'm sure cell phones are killing long distance revenues.
