on the options paid. Then graphs the cumulative total of the puts and
the calls. The intersection of the curves is the MaxPain Pointâ„¢.

The point of maximum pain for options holders -- where the maximum number of options would expire worthless -- and maximum gain for options writers, where they get the maximum profit.
