This article points out a point you have made many times, that Palestinians need a David Ben-Gurion. There is hope if there are more Palestinians like Mr. Tarek Masoud.

I have to believe there are many Palestinians like Mr. Masoud. Unfortunately, like Mr. Masoud, most of them are safely out of the West Bank.

that Palestinians need a David Ben-Gurion.

Really?

"Whoever approaches the Zionist problem from a moral aspect is not a Zionist."

--- David Ben-Gurion

"The acceptance of partition does not commit us to renounce Transjordan; one does not demand from anybody to give up his vision. We shall accept a state in the boundaries fixed today. But the boundaries of Zionist aspirations are the concern of the Jewish people and no external factor will be able to limit them."

--- David Ben-Gurion

"after we become a strong force, as a result of the creation of a state, we shall abolish partition and expand into the whole of Palestine"

--- David Ben-Gurion
