It seems as if most analysts are technicians...the "research" they do is wait until the "company" tells them something ["guidance?"] and then they run to the word processor. Who needs them...look at the downgrades in IBM as it cracked $100...hell, these analysts should be getting bullish as price deteriorates...are there not two componets to a PE ratio? And price is one of them? ...as for MSFT, who needs this has been tech when you can buy a cement stock and likely make some money vs. loosing interest on your capital [or worse]. Axxel And thanks for the nice comment---hard to get these days with most in such a crummy mood...it they were in cements or homebuilders their mood would be improved...Axxel
