Hi John,
A little view from the trenches.

Amazingly, Japan telecom companies are still spending money on infrastructure. So are Japanese enterprises.

Korea - One of the more advanced telecom infrastructures out there....that means that they have a lot of debt and that they have already done their spending....for now.

China - Telecom restructuring still getting digested. Spending is still slow, but I expect it to pick up in a couple of months.

India - Still the land of starry dreams that have a tendency of hitting hard when they have to come back down to earth.

SE Asia - tough going

Aus/NZ - Still spending money, but a definite slowdown.
