When is PCS going to get rid of analog and overlay AMPS 800 with CDMA1XEV DO?

PCS does not have any analog coverage. They provide AMPS on their phones for roaming(on the network of others).

Keith,

<< When is PCS going to get rid of analog and overlay AMPS 800 with CDMA1XEV DO? >>

PCS is 100% digital in 1900 MHz.

Sprint ... operates the largest 100-percent digital, nationwide PCS wireless network in the United States

They do offer some dual-mode/band AMPS-800/CDMA-1900 handsets to take advantage of fill-in roaming.

Is the LG 4NE1 a 1X voice model?

The internal photo for FCC type acceptance seems to show a MSM5105 chip. But a 5105? .. why no gpsOne?

And I also had to match the FCC (BEJDB230) external photo to the Sprint (4NE1) photo .. because of diff numbers .. and maybe that's wrong.

Sorry .. best I can do. Take a look at Qualcomm chip pic yourself .. but it is fuzzy.

FCC ID: BEJDB230 Grant Date: 11/02/2001
