Whatever GG's specific plans, I see this as part of the continuing stream of evidence that the gold industry is getting increasingly bullish on itself, which is one of the most bullish things that could happen for the sector.

Whatever GG is up to, the market is not happy with it today.
GG is down 3.7% while the rest of the group is up for the day.
