The VIX just hit its upper Bollinger Band again. Although there seems to be little reason other than that to expect a rally I still do.

Unfortunately it will probably be short lived.

EDIT: Maybe the rally will start tomorrow.

Is it just a coincidence that both their financial wizard CEOs retired this past year, or did they perhaps realize that it was getting harder to manage their earnings? I agree that it is unsettling to see these bell weathers coming undone. It is bound to affect even the perennial smiles on the faces of those CNBC anchors as their retirement funds also suffer.
