Looks like we gonna get that.
ONly INTC is folloiwng max pain script thus far.

judging by open interst on JNPR...it could rally after earnings tonight.

Incorrect
I can easily make a case for INTC QQQ CSCO
MSFT is harder

INTC has been holding up well
In this carnage with INTC above 29 all one could say is AMAZING (unless one expected a max pain prop job). Max pain at 30

QQQ max pain has been sinking and any strike between 34 and 36 is a max pain victory. It is not this loose usually but check IQUATO.

CSCO max pain is 17 1/2 but at the 17 1/2 strike there were 100K plus calls an a mere 30K puts. Rampant optimism at 17 1/2 that deserves to be punished. Note the protection as well as upgrade yesterday when CSCO fell below 15. Did 50K puts vs 30K calls have anything to do with that upgrade. In short, a close above 15 is a "max pain victory" to those that do a close analysis

MSFT - no real explanation. I do expect 55 to be vigorously protected. If not, look out below.

Max pain is well within parameters on 3 out of 4 that count. We have not closed yet either! Actually WED of expiry week is my key date, perhaps we do a last gasp up this time on Friday.
