Yeah ok. But it could take quite some time to grow into a valuation that will justify it going above the trading range.

Nice earnings report on Merq. Nice to see there really is tech spending doing well on certain products.

I just have to vent a little bit on analysts..... again.

There were calls before Yahoo reported saying that there was upside to earnings and "buy". Ok, fine. But why do they not pay attention to valuation?

The stock goes down, some little guys who probably shouldn't be investing if they can't figure out when something is really pretty high bites and the stock tanks after earnings.... they bought the top of the range and the analysts go home and say..... "what's for dinner?" leaving the poor little guy down 25%. Probably yahoo goes back up again, but most likely not over the price that they bought at.

I have some friends who will probably never live to see the prices they paid for some of these companies, but they still think they will because they hear analysts saying "buy" still... and every quarter the stock sits in the same range the more disillusioned they get. No wonder volume is low.
