Shap done good, real good today, in highlighting what the defense has been saying all along during this portion of the case.

He did it almost all by himself too.

edit Guess that makes 32 witnesses for Msft.

Ok, MSFT bashers, explain this one.

<< Answered Shapiro, "I hadn't considered that before."

While allowing he wanted more time to think about the problem, he said Microsoft could recover Explorer development costs by raising the price of Windows.

"So you would raise the price of Windows for all consumers?" asked Lacovara. Shapiro responded that maybe the requirement to discount the browserless Windows should be reconsidered in light of the requirement to give away its source code.

Responded Lacovara, "So they would not get a discount for the only piece of Microsoft middleware that was at issue in this trial?" >>

WHAT A JOKE! The stinking competitors / states (same thing) have struck out now. Their so called remedy is a farce. It has nothing to do with consumers and everything to do with competitors.

Anyone with half a brain can figure that out and I'd say that the judge is laughing at the states behind her poker face.

IMO,
Dave
