imp: Red Hat is an alternative that is about to go the way of the dodo bird. I guess the good guys will need to find more reliable alternatives. I wouldn't depend on any of MSFT's single digit opponents either. ORCL,SUNW etc are on their way to oblivion if they don't get their shit together and work on products rather than politics. And if you look at AOL it or its merger partner has lost all of its market value since the great merger. By the way with all that clout why have they not rolled out Navigator as the great opponent to IE? The answer could be and probably is 1. It is easier to destroy IE through the tax payer funded court case. 2. Navigator is not up to the task because AOL TW didn't want to spend the $$$. You make me puke. JFD
