Agreed-- csco was caught up in their own and the mkt hype.

Sam, you are correct re the options with CSCO, which is not quite the case with IBM. I forgot all that. And the growth of CSCO via acquisition/artful bookkeeping/options-as-salary-means is at odds with the IBM situation (at IBM, serious options were for just the "top"). But IBM, while not quite as arrogant as the former "world largest market cap" king, still engaged in years of financial engineering. The company products and services are sound, but how richly valued?? Some say 50 is a fair price, so perception of price...value...plays as much here as accounting, IT spending outlook, computers and business..all that stuff.
