In one of the links, it said that Khazars are a mix of turkic and slavic, but in all the others I have seen say they were only turkic. That's the one to look at on the charts. They have Turks on the charts, but they where just one of many (and may not be the best representatives). There were several of the turkic tribes, and these were numerous. Some went under name Golden Horde. Bulgars where also a Turkic tribe.

I think both your and my link said something about difficulty obtaining right samples for comparison.
