Well hi all, if Paul McCartney comes to your area run to go see him!!!! He played 3 hours of Beatles music, a tribute to John, and George, it had everyone dancing and crying, his voice was better than ever...... what a experience.

Morning Greg:
How appropriate to have Harrisons name in your first post!
Some comments on the market fears today.
I notice that many male newscasters have taken to screaming and emphasizing every other word as though
their report is "new" no matter if its been reported 24 times before. Adding fuel to the fires.
As far as threats to the economy by Afgans and oil producers, our own people can do much better at at
destroying things (we dont need any help). Ltcm 110 bil, Kenneth Lay 100 bil, Charles Keating, Bob Citron.
The S+L disaster, the Chrysler bankruptsy, Gibralter Savings( largest S+L in the country).
$50/barrel oil in the 1970's and we survived
For killing people, we do very well with no help, over 41k traffic deaths in 1996,1997 or maybe 410,000 in ten years - not to mention far greater numbers injured.
And then there is the Texas Motor Speedway.
For wars, we average about one war every 5 years and the last three have been with mighty few casualties.
And the economy chugs right along.
Summary:
I am solidly behind Pres Bush and what he is trying to do, but the fears created are having too much influence on the markets.
Sig

AOL....their service has gone down hill....customer service is worse......the program locks up and has e-mail problems.....the message boards are worse then yahoo or raging bull$hit...they have "Volunteer" people that have the ability to erase posts and act as board monitors, and these "volunteers" acting for AOL, are all biased, hold grudges and all act on their own set of rules. They play favorites allowing some people to post anything they want, but erase posts they dont like or people they dont like......AOL knows about this...and has known about it.....and refuses to do anything. New subscribers are drying up.....current subscribers have had it and are bailing......check out chickens post on aol board about the time warner people sneaking around peoples backyards....I know it to be true, because they do that here where I live and I have a friend ( just let go by TW within the last 2 weeks )at TW that used to tell me all the "secret" crap they pull...some of it illegal obviously if they are trespassing amongst other things.....wish I had shorted aol at $65 when merger was announced.......now, I hope they get it down to proper valuation of about $2, and I may go long again <ggg>.....look at it's valuation now...it's PE...it's huge write off's....and this is with the stock at yearly lows....very scary...based on what I see TA and FA wise.....she is still waaaay overvalued at $19....but since I am the best contrarian indicator you will find, AOL will probably now shoot to new highs, rather then the $5 range where she belongs until she proves she is worth more...
