Wow, that is incredible, can it be that our favorite Party is that corrupt. Maybe they ought to take up sex scandals, that would be child's play compared to this stuff

That's a great deal of research into Bush Senior nefarious actions to win the 1980 election.

I've got a good friend who flew SR-71s out of Beal during that period.
There are very few pilots who flew those birds.
I'll ask him if he knew the Russbacher/Raven character

The House Dems already investigated that and cleared Bush.

Chris,

One of the articles says that Russbacher flew a particlar model SR-71, a YF-12A. "The SR-17 model was the YF12 A, a two-seater. According to Russbacher, Bush had few words to say on the return flight."-Harry V. Martin, 1991. Now this sounded a little familiar to me, so I looked it up. There were apparently 3 YF-12A's built. One crashed and was cut in half in the late 60's (with the back used to make another SR-71, and the front half sitting in Burbank), one crashed and destroyed in 1971, and One was retired in November 1979, to be placed on permanent display at the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The meeting was supposed to have happened in Oct 1980.

Jimmy Carter was a failed President. The release of hostages would not have saved him.

What is important to remember is that Carter, in his desperation, offered the Iranians arms for hostages, something Dems tried to criminalize later on.
