If every country gets an equal vote there would be enough that resent the US that would love to embarass us.

I don't know how they decide on cases... but not only are they not reviewing past incidents - so Kissinger's safe, if that's your concern - but it's designed to try crimes against humanity, genocide and terrorism. Is the US planning to go into these in a big way? Bush the Belligerent notwithstanding, I doubt it.
Oh, and at least 75% of its constituents are certified by the US as free democratic states. Places like Canada, UK, Germany, Australia... feel better?
Your company? Well, very few dictatorships will sign it. Why would this be?

BTW, as the US won't ratify it, crimes on US territory aren't covered. Better hope Ashcroft loves you. And his successors. Oh, boy, won't the next Hoover love these powers.

I appreciate the note, Tim. If you and ts are OK discussing it here, fine with me.
