Dealing With Losses Insight "I got my confidence back very, very slowly and painfully. It took a long time. I realized that I had a lot of learning to do. And in order to make such a big loss impossible for me in the future, I had to realize what actually happened. How I got caught in such a drop. There were several hard losses after that. Not as hard as that one but each of them was pretty upsetting. But I continued to learn from each of them. In my last my big loss, around May of 1998, approximately one year after that first huge loss, I lost about eleven thousand dollars. It was like the last piece of the puzzle.
