An article in Forbes dated April 29 titled "Accounting Acrobatics" questions accounting practices at four companies: Cendant (CD) cited for moving expenses onto Trilegiant, a firm launched by its executives that pays royalties to CD; SureBeam (SURE) cited for booking revenues before it sent invoices to customers; Allergan (AGN) said to have "curious" off-balance sheet research entities similar to ELN; Manugistics (MANU) cited for related party sales.
