Yep, works both ways. But the solution is in the bigger picture.

I agree with President Bush that the right of Israel to exist is the key to any possible settlement. You can't make deals with people who think you have no right to exist.

New developments with Abdullah's proposal are promising... I hope they move along.

Once this issue is seriously on the table, watch the "miracle" of Palestinian militancy going down. Right now for a Palestinian person not being "enthusiastic" in their hatred for Israel may mean a death sentence.

The lack of Israeli security is DIRECTLY linked to closed minds and simplistic responces like yours.

The lack of Palestinian freedom is DIRECTLY linked to outside forces who don't want to see the problem resolved, and to a leadership which benefits from the collective distress of their populace. What Israel does or doesn't do, matters not one bit to their 'freedom'. If they had a state tomorrow, I can promise you two things, the Palestinians would NOT be FREE and Israel would not be SECURE.
