Yes, because the 'locals' took over most of the 'ground work' - and this IS the way it should be.

This is what Israel expected from the PA - to control their extremists. Instead, the PA supported them. If and when any sort of a viable settlement takes place in the Mideast, the Arabs will have to do themselves the job of controllng their wackos.

I guess if I could find good journalists I would give them access. In the US, so far, the only journalist whose seems capable of telling a story in perspective is Ashley Banfield.

I've been watching Amanpour's interviews; those are works of art; and Dan Rather on CBS who has done a bang up job the last week or two. Regular CNN coverage is far too thin to be helpful.
