This is your news, it was just a rehash of rumors. How many times do I have to hear about the underpants story. Is that the worst that the Israeli army can be held accountable for? On the face of it, that sure is worse than anything the Iraqi's did to the Kurds or the Iranians. Arab attrocity = Mustard Gas Arab attrocity = Suicide Murder Jewish attrocity = Pulling someones pants off. That's the news from over here in Europe, fair and balanced as always!

If the U.N. decides to send in a peace-keeping force, how long will it take them to actually do it? My guess is that it will be too little and too late to be effective.

End of the Arafat era? reuters.com - Secretary of State Colin Powell was reviewing whether to go ahead with talks with Yasser Arafat after a Palestinian suicide bombing in Jerusalem killed six people, the State Department said on Friday. Deeper involvement? The Bush administration has many fundamental doubts about Mr Arafat as a negotiating partner for the Israelis - it is just that it cannot think of anyone else. The US seems to have accepted Israel will not "withdraw, without delay" If Mr Powell's mission fails, there is speculation that Washington may consider more drastic action. Cutting ties with Mr Arafat would fall into that category, as would exerting real pressure on Mr Sharon. Some advocate jumping ahead to the creation of a Palestinian state, more or less imposing it on both sides.
