Take a look at these charts from Yahoo with a one day delay. We are pretty oversold but perhaps not enough to guarantee a move higher.

As Gottfried pointed out tagging lower Bollinger bands is enough. What we are looking for is that when the majority of the stocks have not only tagged the lower Bollinger Band but that they also have RSI's that are low compared to past levels. Basically in the 30's.

According to what I see here KLIC is still well above the 30's on its RSI. This could mean one of two things; The stock is not oversold enough to accumulate or the stock is set for a break out to new highs if and when the SOX does the same.

If you have been reading my posts then you know how disappointed I am in the action of the SOX and the NASDAQ. The VIX however became extremely overextended today.

We should be seeing a rally soon. I guess we will have to wait to see how the SOX reacts to earnings news in the next few sessions.
