Ill. Right--UK and Germany did the dastardly deed. The rest of Europes governments hoped to get their share too. But, somehow, along the way, the telecoms regained their senses and didn't keep bidding so high. Still, it took stupid socalist government owned telecom managers in UK and Germany to kick it all off. And, had the rest of Europes governments done as well as UK and Germany, they too would be all smiles.

Here in the US, our idiot FCC fumbled their $18 billion spectrum sale-- by selling spectrum it had already sold--and will be in court for years --meanwhile the spectrum goes unused and is valued much lower. Now FCC would sell scectrum occupied by TV without evicting the TV users.
