Tim, the article said two years....I was really surprised that Israel had that capability.

Two years of moderate to low intensity conflict maybe.

Yes, but in the US the issue would have been taken to court and resolved by this time.

What if the terrorists ignore the court ruling? Besides before it went to court they would be arrested and if they have a small army then we would use the military to take them down or force them to give up.

Right or wrong, no minority in this country would stand for the way the Israelis are treating the Palestinians.

That's true but the PA probably abuses Palestinian rights more then Israel.

>Yes, but in the US the issue would have been taken to court and resolved by this time. The problem is that the Palestinians have zero rights. No question the suicide bombings are inexcusable but I now wonder which came first the chicken or the grenade.

My question is- which chicken?

>However, a guy.....an American Jew......from Amnesty International complained of the heavy handed treatment by the Israelis.

Nearly all of the human rights groups are radically left-wing and hate Israel. They all complain of massacres committed by Israeli soldiers, but none can prove any at all.

I can't say that all of the soldiers are wonderful people or that they all treat the Palestinians wonderfully, but I will say that that's not part of their mission and many of the soldiers that violate the rules end up in jail.

On the other side, committing atrocities is the entire mission of the fighters.

you act as freaking expert on WWII, genocide, Ghettos, refugees, treaties, etc while you do not know a Sh!t. Yet it does not prevebt you from telling me that I am a bit more honest about Israeli capabilities than Yousef.
re: Yes, but in the US the issue would have been taken to court and resolved by this time.
the same courts that say three strikes and you are out when needed. US court system is aware that sometimes criminals would have to be taken out. PLO's were at their three strikes in 60's.

one thing you got right, majority (as opposed to minority) supports Israel
